Williamsburg's former City Drug Store, known in the '60s and '70s for "the best chili and hotdogs ever," has since transformed into Williamsburg Game Café.
Owners John and Angela Ward announced the Café side of the store would officially open Tuesday, March 1 at 11 a.m.
"I was told, back in the day, all the kids would come in and grab hotdogs at the drug store," John said. "Now, The Williamsburg Café is a great place to use highspeed internet for free, a great place for Cumberland's students to work on a project or local citizens to hang out, or if you have a court hearing, you can hang out here before court and grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich."
Williamsburg Game Café also carries the latest in Board Games, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic: The Gathering. So, while one may come in and enjoy a chili dog, a breakfast sandwich, or maybe an iced coffee off the menu, they can also learn a new hobby game with friends and family.

"We're going to do a lot of learn-to-play events for board games and game nights in the near future," said John. "We're super excited to get more involved. Williamsburg is an awesome little community, and we want to provide a place for families to go, sit down and grab something to eat, and enjoy themselves."
Williamsburg Game Café is located at 211 Main Street in Williamsburg.
