Whitley County will host a pop-up driver licensing event on Wednesday, August 31, in the old Whitley County Courthouse in the Community Room (Floor 2). No walk-ins will be accepted.
This is due to Drivers Licensing Services gradually transitioning from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in every county to Driver Licensing Regional Offices across the state instead, which took place in late June 2022.
“Many people were concerned about access and availability of the service after the consolidation of the regional offices,” said Judge-Executive Pat White Jr. “I have been working with the Department of Transportation the last couple months about pop-up locations that will provide the same services as the regional offices on scheduled dates in some of the counties that don’t have their own office.”
White stated he appreciates the service being offered to the county and hopes citizens will utilize the event.

The hours of the pop-up event are 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m.
