'We will all feel it': Beshear informs Kentucky to expect higher gas prices amid Russia-Ukraine friction

Today, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear released a video on Facebook that urged unity across the U.S. amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Gov. Beshear said, "Although we will not have our sons and daughters on the ground as troops in Ukraine, we will be called upon to endure things like higher gas prices,"

Beshear added,  "This is a small price to pay to stop this act of aggression though I understand we will all feel it."

Gov. Beshear continued to inform watchers that Russia has engaged in a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and he asked this moment to be a time of unity.

"We have real enemies overseas that want to harm us and others and we have to remember we are not each other's enemies," Gov. Beshear said. "It's time for America to be united every single one of us against this external threat. We're tough enough but we must be resolute and now is the time for patriotism."
