Overheated brakes led to I-75 semi fire
According to Williamsburg Fire Department and Dispatch, overheated brakes were the cause of a semi-truck fire that shut down a stretch of I-75 South in Whitley County on Thursday morning just after 7 a.m.
The incident happened on I-75 southbound mile marker 16.
As of now, traffic is open to one lane. The estimated time until traffic is cleared is 2 hours.
