London City Police and Laurel County Sheriff's Office team up and seize 2 pounds meth. Officers executed a search warrant at the residence of Michael Paul Green, age 43, on Winding Blade Rd. in Northern Laurel County. The search was the culmination of a 2-month investigation conducted jointly by the London City Police and Laurel County Sheriff's Office. The search resulted in the seizure of over 2 and ¾ lbs. of methamphetamine, a quantity of marijuana, pills, scales, various other pieces of drug paraphernalia, 1 firearm, 1 vehicle, and over $7000 in cash. Michael Green was arrested and charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center. The investigation is continuing, and additional charges are possible.
