According to Laurel County Sheriff's Office, a London woman is facing assault charges after allegedly stabbing a man with a kitchen knife and cutting a woman on Wednesday night, February 2.
Deputies were dispatched to a stab wound complaint at a residence off Burnett Road, just 7 miles southeast of London.
Upon arrival, deputies located a man with an apparent knife stab wound to the arm. EMS was notified to respond to the scene, but the man reportedly decided to be transported to the hospital by personal vehicle. A woman there was also found with a cut to the finger.
During the investigation, Deputies learned that the suspect involved had allegedly cut the woman victim on the finger and stabbed a man there with a kitchen knife.
Deputies were then directed to a back bedroom where the suspect was found in possession of a knife.
Sheriff's Deputy Travis Napier took Brianna Rich, 22, of London, into custody without incident.
Rich was charged with Assault – Second Degree and Assault – Fourth Degree.
In addition, Rich was charged on a Jackson District Court bench warrant of arrest charging Failure to Appear in Court. She was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center. Deputy Josh Morgan and CSO Walter Marker-assisted at the scene.
