London woman arrested for criminal trespassing and public intoxication

A London woman was arrested for criminal trespassing and alcohol intoxication after deputies found her wrestling with an individual on Sunday morning, January 23, as reported by Laurel County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's Deputy Charlie Johnson and Deputy Brent France were dispatched to a complaint of two individuals fighting at a residence off Love Road, just 2 miles north of London.

When deputies arrived, residents of the house directed deputies to a back bedroom where they allegedly observed the suspect wrestling with another individual.

The suspect was reportedly asked to leave several times by residents but refused. Upon arrest, the suspect also refused to walk to the patrol car and had to be escorted.

The woman then shouted and cursed and refused to comply with verbal commands from deputies.

Rebecca Johnson, 39, London, was charged with Criminal Trespassing – Third Degree; Alcohol Intoxication.

Johnson was lodged into Laurel County Correction Center.
