London man arrested on 5 outstanding warrants, including alleged cold checks

According to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, Sgt. Gary Mehler and Deputy Travis Napier arrested Jamie Clontz, age 42, of London, on Thursday night, December 30. The arrest happened off Bentley Road, 6 miles west of London.

He was charged on five outstanding warrants, including:

•  Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest - charging flagrant nonsupport

• two Laurel District Court bench warrants of arrest - charging failure to appear in court

• a Clay District Court warrant of arrest charging theft by deception including cold checks

•  Rockcastle District Court bench warrant of arrest - charging failure to appear in court

Clontz was lodged into the Laurel County correctional center.
