According to Laurel County Sheriff's Office, a 36-year-old Laurel County woman was charged with Assault and Criminal Trespassing after she allegedly broke into a house and assaulted a female while under the influence on Saturday night.
Sheriff's Deputy Dustin Saylor and Deputy Travis Napier arrested Amanda Mindy Hinkle at a residence off Paris Karr Road, approximately 10 miles south of London, after deputies were dispatched to a "refusal to leave" complaint.
While en-route to the scene, deputies were advised that this suspect had allegedly assaulted a female at home.
Once deputies arrived at the scene, they learned that the female suspect had entered a residence that was not her own, assaulted a female subject, sat down, and then refused to leave even after being asked several times to leave.
Deputies determined that the female suspect was under the influence.
Amanda Mindy Hinkle, 36, of London was charged with Assault – Fourth Degree; Criminal Trespassing– Third Degree, and Public Intoxication – Controlled Substances.
She was lodged into the Laurel County Correctional Center.
