Laurel County Sheriff reports a successful safety campaign

For the 11-day period of August 26 thru September 6, Sheriff John Root reported that his Safety Campaign was a success. This period of time included Labor Day Weekend, and the following arrests were reported for this period.

Daniel Boggs, 28, of Keavy arrested on September 3 on a bench warrant charging failure to appear.

Donnie Robinson, 50, of East Bernstadt arrested on September 4 for 4th-degree assault.

Royal Farmer, 35, of London arrested on September 4 for theft, possession, a controlled substance not in proper container, and public intoxication.

Beverly Thompson, 63, of Corbin arrested on September 5 for driving under the influence.

Jeremy Owens, 42, of London, was arrested on September 5 for fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.

Nathaniel Holt, 38, of London, was arrested on September 5 for possession and was found to be a fugitive from Claiborne County, TN.

Jonathon Rice, 35, of London, was arrested on September 5 during a speeding stop. It was found that Rice was a fugitive and wanted in Winchester City, VA.
