Modern-day cowboy and Kentucky native, Rye Davis, will perform on Laurel County Public Library's stage Thursday night, February 3.
When he isn't managing his small cattle operation with his wife and his dad, he's singing country-western songs and performing live shows.
Davis has performed 150 shows and headlined for names like Ward Davis, The Steel Woods, Chris Knight, Brent Cobb, and Whitey Morgan. He was also invited to perform at Nashville's famous Bluebird Café.
When referring to his country-style, famous music artist Brad Paisley said to Davis, "You remind me of Alan Jackson!"
"I just aim to be honest in my songs," said Davis. "Music has a different meaning for everyone…come take a listen and see what it means to you! That's what's important."
Davis said his band is from Laurel County, and the band is excited about performing on London's library stage.
He added, "Thank you for the hospitality and support and hope you come out and enjoy the show!"
Davis's songs can be downloaded on all music streaming platforms.
Admission is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event address is 120 College Park Dr, London, KY 40741
