Corbin 50, Knox Central 0
The Corbin Redhounds flexed their muscle with a statement win at home over Knox Central as they defeated the Panthers 50-0 to improve to 7-0 on the season.
Corbin's Kade Elam turned in a nearly flawless game as he completed 11 of 13 passes for 319 yards and five touchdowns. Carter Stewart caught seven passes for 235 yards and four touchdowns, Marc Warren hauled in a 23-yard touchdown pass, and Eli Pietrowski added two catches for 42 yards.
Zayne Hammack led the defense with 13 tackles, including 10 solo tackles. Jacob Baker recorded 10 tackles, including six solo tackles. Joe Lester picked up a fumble and returned it 35 yards for a touchdown.
The Redhounds (7-0) will travel to Lincoln County (1-6) on Friday, October 14. Knox Central (4-3) will host Wayne County (5-2) on the same night.
Pineville 45, Lynn Camp 6
Lynn Camp's Peyton Wilson completed four of 10 passes for 56 yards, while Brody Lane rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Pineville was led by Landon King with 105 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries, while Sawyer Thompson finished with 66 yards and a touchdown on six carries.
Lane led the Wildcats on defense with eight tackles, while DJ Wren added seven tackles. Tim Hall and Jacob Montgomery led the Mountain Lions with nine tackles each.
Lynn Camp (2-5) will travel to Harlan (5-2) on Friday, October 14, while Pineville (7-0) hosts Williamsburg (4-2).
Pulaski County 46, North Laurel 13
Tucker Warren completed 15 of 27 passes for 151 yards, Ethan Gregory rushed for 70 yards on 22 carries, and Warren added 63 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
Keaton Bowling caught four passes for 34 yards, and Carter Kelly added a 30-yard catch. Gregory hauled in five catches for 27 yards.
Trey Stidham led the Jaguar's defense with 10 tackles, while Clay Morris added nine tackles.
North Laurel (4-3) will host Whitley County (1-6) on Thursday, October 13.
Southwestern 40, Whitley County 6
Shane Parker led the Colonels with 141 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, while Tye Hamblin rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries. Hamblin also completed three passes for 63 yards.
Bryson Potter caught two passes for 48 yards, and Hunter Smith hauled in a 15-yard pass. Brad Bisschop led the defense with seven tackles, while Same Haynes added six tackles.
Whitley County (1-6) will travel to North Laurel (4-3) on Thursday, October 13.
Pulaski County 71, South Laurel 27
Noah Smith led the Cardinals by completing 10 of 22 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Bundy caught three passes for 57 yards and a touchdown, while Garrison Brown added two catches for 13 yards and a touchdown. Brown also recorded a pick-six that went 98 yards.
TJ Francione led the Jaguar defense with eight tackles, while Liam Newton added six tackles.
South Laurel (0-7) will travel to Southwestern on Friday, October 14.
Williamsburg 26, Harlan 16
Williamsburg's Sydney Bowen rushed for 108 yards and four touchdowns. He also completed nine of 15 passes for 60 yards. Hunter Thomas rushed for 150 yards on 26 carries.
Nate Goodin caught five passes for 40 yards, while Cade Hatcher hauled in three passes for 18 yards.
Williamsburg (4-2) will travel to Pineville (7-0) on Friday, October 14.
