A Corbin man was arrested on Tuesday morning after he was caught inside a residence not his own.
According to the release, Knox County Deputy Jesse Smith responded to a complaint of a man that had broken into a residence on Ott Road in Corbin at 3:30 a.m.
Once on scene, Smith observed Michael Howard, 55, and located a syringe inside his jacket pocket.
Howard was arrested and charged with Burglary – Second Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
All criminal defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
