A Bimble man is accused of child abuse after Knox County deputies reportedly reviewed video footage of him assaulting his daughter on Monday, May 23.
According to the arrest citation, Knox County deputies reviewed video footage of Erick Goodin, 39, shoving his 16-year-old daughter to the ground.
This apparently isn't the first time this has happened, as the citation stated neighbors had filed complaints in the past of Goodin hitting his daughter and pushing her.
Social services were called and will be doing a follow-up.
Goodin was charged with Assault – Fourth Degree (Child Abuse) and is being held on a $1,000 cash bond at the Knox County Detention Center.
He will appear before the Knox County District Court on Thursday, June 21, at 9:30 a.m.
All criminal defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
