The Knox Central Art Department is giving shoppers a chance to shop local all while supporting the school’s art department this Christmas.
The 9th Annual Crafter’s Fair returns to the Knox Central High School gym foyer on Tuesday night, December 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Between 10 to 15 vendors will be set up alongside visual art pieces on display from all over the Knox County Public Schools district.
This year's vendors will offer everything from baked goods and handmade home decor to customized clothing and "permanent" jewelry.
Choirs and bands from all over the district will also be performing in different parts of the building throughout the night.
“Our Crafter’s Fair is a wonderful opportunity for our school and our community to come together and to provide mutual support for one another,” said KCHS Visual Arts teacher Molly Shields. “I am always grateful for our local community members coming out and setting up, working with my students, and allowing them to witness them in their various trades!” She added, “It’s a wonderful learning experience for them!”
100 percent of the vendors table fees will go directly to the Art department. While anything the vendors earn in sales tonight will be theirs to keep.
Knox Central High School is located at 100 Panther Way, Barbourville, KY 40906
